We offer Semi Private Lessons for children and adults, with the lesson length depending on the number of riders.
2 riders: 15 minutes to groom and fit a helmet and boots, then 30 minutes, 45 minutes or 1 hour of riding in the arena (subject to availability).
3 riders: 15 minutes to groom and fit a helmet and boots, then 1 hour of riding in the arena. Please contact or call the office to book a 1 hour lesson.
Who Semi Private Lessons suit
Semi Private Lessons are for two or three riders of a similar level who want to learn together. Friends, siblings and adult riders often book this way, and it's a relaxed way to build confidence while still getting plenty of individual attention from your coach. Your coach sets work for each rider, so everyone progresses at their own pace, with time for flatwork, exercises and riding practice.
Riding on your own?
If you'd like ongoing Semi Private Lessons but don't have riders to share with, start with an assessment Private Lesson. We'll get to know your riding and find a group that suits you. If no Semi Private place is available, we can offer other lessons until a suitable group opens up. On Thursdays, Paula also runs Semi Private lessons for her new Ladies Group; call the office to join.

*Our customer maximum weight restriction is 90kg. Please be aware that on the day of your lesson VPRS staff may ask you to be weighed and if your weight exceeds our maximum safety weight restriction, VPRS may cancel your lesson and all monies paid by you will be forfeited.
